Have installed TA 250 with a Mac 10.6 which is intermittently very slow to spool the print job at the computer. Can be a word doc or a pdf or email no real pattern to the type of print job.
Anybody experienced this.

Latest driver and firmware loaded.

Thanks

I had a customer printing large pictures from Word on a mac to a C5030n, and it took a couple of minutes per page using the normal Kyocera driver. I finally found a foomatic driver that printed much faster, but it would spend some time on the mac processing the print job.

Just install the 3 programs from this page and setup a printer with the foomatic driver. I don't know how well duplex or other options will work, since mine was just a basic printer.

aragul. I'm assuming this will be a benefit in time and speed for any Mac enviroment old and new Mac's printing "large file sizes" single sided prints. In my case I have a customer printing 20 to 30mg files 11/17 to a C3232E there biggest complaint is the time it takes !!! The website you mentioned supports the C3232E so I think I'll give it a try. Would you agrea with it cutting down beginning to end print speed/time ???

Yeah, the total time was shorter (2 min. -> 45 sec.), and most of it was on the mac. Once it finally got to the printer, it just flew. Everyone's complaint was how it tied up the printer so nobody else could print, so no one minded the extra time on the mac.

Check out under the kyoceramita.com download center TA manuals, Printing with Snow Leopard pdf. If you go to Kyoceras FTP site and grad the new driver there, it really speeds up the printer.
