Our customer uses WordPerfect 10 with a KM3060 and when they go to network fax a document the Sender Information is gone from the cover page. I read some previous postings about WordPerfect ignoring driver settings and difficulty selecting the MP tray etc. Any new knowledge on how to fix these (and my) problems? Thanks.

This is a common problem. I've gotten plenty of calls like this "My machine doesn't work when I use XYZ program. But it works fine with everything else. What's wrong with the machine" So how does one go about explaining the weird and wonderful exceptions due to software. With WP, like you have a problem with, it's within the drivers and setting of Word Perfect. Do not use control panels settings to try to resolve this issue. Go into the drivers and preferences within Word Perfect. The company the writes the program uses their own driver software that will cooperate with the windows drivers, but have subtle tweeks within their program. You may never get the software to retain the information you are trying to get it to store.

The mp tray problem has happened to me with a networked CS 2030 and Word Perfect. Five work stations with the same software worked. The sixth one would not access the mp tray. Never did get that one station to print to the mp tray. At least the customer did understand it was the software and not the machine. If it was the machine then none of their work stations would be able to use the MP tray. Good luck and I hope you have an understanding customer.

Wordperfect is (and always has been) a pain.

If they are too cheap for Microsoft Office perhaps they would consider OpenOffice - it's free.

Relax? When?!
