I loaded the new scan to file utility on a vista yesterday, I can start and stop the utility fine. When I stop it and hit configure the pop up screen to allow setup never pops up.

Has anyone ever had this happen before?

Also try this.

Close the program, when you go to restart, right click and tell it to run as an administrator.

Thanks I have 64 bit myself and usually run all my programs as administrator. It is a very good tip to do it this way. Still is not the answer I am looking for. I have not had to do this for a while, but I am thinking about deleting every file that says Kyocera on it and start all over fresh plus use all the driver and program deleters.

I also forgot to mention this is one of those catch 22 installs. The computer has to many programs running in the background. I could hardly find and of my files I zipped to the desktop. Just the add the printer took 45 minutes. I know this customer and I will probably end up cleaning up her computer just to make our software work. I want our software to work and my customer to be happy with our equipment.
