A while back I got tired of having to change or create a TCP/IP printer port every time I needed to test something from my service laptop, so I set up a VB script to change the IP address easily.
I use the Kyocera Generic Color KX driver and for almost everything. I also have an HP LJ4 driver installed. Just Unzip the file http://dpi.bz/setport.zip to the root of c:\ It will create a standard TCP/IP printer port with the name 'FlexPort'.Assign it to all of your test printers. When you need to change the IP address just run the SetIP.bat (I put a shortcut to it on my desktop). It will display the current setting and let you enter a new IP address or hostname. Just realized the zip archive was messed up - it's fixed now.
