Heya Airborne!

I was told that you only need to run that for about a minute or so. I let it run for 5 minutes, turn off the machine, then turn it back on.
All is good after restart.

I was told this by my Rep.

Hope it helps.. By the way it will stay like that until you shut it down. I let my first one run all nite! lol

KyoceraPro, you are exactly correct that is what I did, hung around their office till about 7:00 then left a not on the machine to call me in the morning if it still had that message, they called me and the only thing I could do was say to go ahead and reboot and keep our fingers crossed Confused4 after the reboot it went back to normal copy mode and I started breathing again.

Doug, good suggestion, I'll put it in there.

How's this work?

I was just trying to keep the "discussion" out of the Heads Up section to keep it clean and orderly.

FYI - changing the hard drive on this is a real pain.
I haven't had one fail yet, but when we got our first KM3050 in and configured it the way we wanted it (which took a while since the op panel was so slow then) I decided I would see if I could clone the hard drive to set up new machines more easily.
It didn't really work right. You have to take out the main PCB to get at the hard drive! It's mounted on the back of the frame the PCB is mounted on!

Relax? When?!
