Had a tech upgrade firmware and now the customer can't connect with KM-Net viewer. It keeps asking for the administrator username and password when trying to update the accounts. Tried deleting the library and rediscovering the machine. Reinstalling KM-net for accounting with same message.
make sure you have the right KM-net for Acct. version. I just did a 300i with the older km-net for acct version and it asked me for a user name and password. I had to download the version for 420\520i and it worked. good luck!
Is it a KM pop-up or Windows? Windows pop-ups will have gold and silver keys. I've found Windows pop-ups like this that have no explanation but require a jumper reset to fix...
Thanks for the replies. I'll check both when i go back. Supertech68 it is the same version as the 420i/520i but you never know, I'll delete the version on their PC, do a reboot and then install it from te 520i and see what happens.
It is a Kyocera pop up window, and there is an icon when you register a new machine next to the IP address.
