I need to enable the event log printing on a FS3900DN. When I access the FRPO settings through the command center browser I am not given the choice for L1 which needs to be set to "1". I've looked under the dependent and independent paramaters and don't have any setting that resembles the one I need. I can't send the data through the "Send Data" link because it won't allow me to click it either. Any ideas what I'm missing here? Thanks! Foos

Upload the command from IC-Link as one option. Should be able to upload the command directly from KM-Net Viewer too. If the "Send File" is available from the Command Center, then you also can create a simple TXT file with the command !R!FRPO l1,1;stat;exit; as the only text. Upload the file, if a status page prints, it worked. ================================================== Chris L's Hiking/Geocaching blog (new and improved!) yoyoartist.blogspot.com

It's I1 (as in "i"), not L1. !R! FRPO I1, 1; EXIT; I can't remember if the printer needs a restart before the option shows up in the menu. And I've never seen that parameter listed in the web page lists of dependent or independent parameters. To send that command with IC-Link:
We haven't sent it yet, but you should only have to do that process once. To send that macro/command while you're in IC-Link Printer Tools:
Like Chris said, you might want to add a STAT; or a ELOG; to make sure the command actually worked. !R! FRPO I1, 1; STAT; EXIT; !R! FRPO I1, 1; ELOG; EXIT;
