I have a word document with the companies logo on it. The customer would like to use this for their cover letter on a Task Alfa 400. Does anyone know the steps involved to make this work?
You will have to get the word doc converted into a .bmp file. I believe you can do this if you open the doc using publisher then you should be able to either export it as a .bmp file or save it as a .bmp file. Using the fax cover sheet editor program you can then import the .bmp format in as the background and save it. There is also was in the cover editor progam to overlay data boxes onto this background so if at each PC in the NW fax settings area where you input the User data information such as User name, Company name, phone number, fax number etc. it will automatically insert this information when NW faxing from the PC, it will also import the destination information that is associated with the fax number used if your are using a fax address book stored on the PC.
Thanks, I ended up downloading a PDF to bmp convertor, then using one of Kyoceras templates in the fax cover page editor and copied and pasted the iformation that they needed, then saved the folder that it created on my thumbdrive
