Company's IT guy called me and said he got NW to work sucessfully on 5 PCs. One PC, however, sends a test page and

"Fax Module Error: Appname:kmnfmain.exe...etc etc."
Then the windows crash.


Current drivers and firmware, he is using an IP instead of LPT1, I know this is not a copier proble but if anyone knows what to do it would make me look good.

Under the port setting in the driver, it should be set to LPT1. Then go to TX properties and under device settings, that's where you put the scanner IP address.

I have on occasion seen LPT1 as the port for NWFax cause problems. You can add a new local port and specify a local path (c:\null.prn for example).

Did you have him try making a local port and name it fax port and set up fax driver that way?

Is it a XP or Vista, 32 or 64 bit operating system. Not to my knowledge there is no 64 fax drivers out there.
