Use the Firmware Upgrader Utility and a crossover cable from a laptop

There is not much in the way of specific instruction to do this. You need to go on to KMAConnect and download the IBVERUP Ver 2.0 file and the IBVERUP packet driver from the firmware section. You need to unzip these files. I just put them all in one folder on my desktop. You also need to download the NS-30 scanner file and the IB-21e print NIC upgrade from the same page and unzip those too. You need to go in to the packet driver file and get in to the install folder and load that. Once you have all the stuff downloaded and installed go to the files that came out of IBVERUP and locate the IBVERUP file. Mine is an image of a red 3.5" floppy disc superimposed over a NIc card. Click on that and pick how you are connecting to the copier. After that the utility comes up and it searches for the NIC's. Hilight the one you want to upgrade then use the browse button on the utility screen to go to the UNZIPPED file downloaded previously. Select it and hit the upload button. Hope this helps. Took me a while to figure it out.
