Hi,

I have to go to a machine on Monday that was set up to print from the parallel connection, I have asked the customer to connect the machine via network to change some settings, he has now called me to say he cant print from parallel anymore, he assures me he has done nothing more than change the A4/letter override via the web page.

have you guys got any thoughts what might of happened or what I should look for? I would have thought the machine would print from whatever is connected to it?

Has the driver port been reset to parallel?

I would agree with Sayen's. Reset the driver port to parallel or set up a new parallel port.

Thanks, I will be annoyed if it is that simple, I will be going there on Monday, once again it could be a case of go and look at it before asking.
