Have a customer who prints out of Office 2003 and has issues with some word
docs and pdf docs that don't print all of the details and yet when using Office 2007 the documents print fine. I am not sure if trying another emulation under the print driver tabs will resolve or not.
The firmware at the machine is updated and I am satisfied that the Kyocera
product works as it should.
By details in the docs I mean the watermark won't show or bold highlighted
lines won't show.
I may just suggest to the customer to phone 1-800 GET MITA to research the
problem.
The driver is the latest on the cd that ships with the product although others have been tried with the same result.

Any opinions or suggestions always appreciated.

What PDL is selected. Kyo was pushing us to always select the KPDL language, well it sucks. Slows the output of the machine down drastically. Stay away from PCL XL also. For just simple document printing the PCL 5e or 5c is fine. Depending on which version driver you have installed, you may also have a PDF to choose from. I recommend using that for complex graphic printing. I know for a fact that WordArt is problematic when using the KPDL and sometimes even with the PCL 5x languages. I also download the latest driver from the KMA Connect sight during installs, you never know if the driver on the install CD is up to date. Also check to make sure your firmware on the device is at the latest version available.
