We have a 3060 and 300ci set up for NW faxing . The customer is using a program called D.V. MAX in xp pc's.Printing and reg faxing works without problems. However, when they send a nw fax when in dv max the program will crash apx 10-30% of the time. The crashes may not happen for several days then multiple times throughout the day. It seems that the crashes occur with heavy volume. Kyocera tech and regional rep have been of no help. Any thoughts???? Thanks
I feel for you man. DVMAX is a specialist veterinary office software, and as we all know now, niche software is sometimes a PITA to work with. I always fall back on the position that all MS products are working with NW fax, right Mr Customer? I suggest you call the software company that makes your specialized product and ask them to sort it out for you.

We did contact DV MAX and their people want to talk to Kyocera people(this almost sounds like a joke) but Kyocera is draging their feet. I forgot to add that the cuss had a 3035 that never had any problems. The 3060 started giving error messages and the 300ci would crash their program. So as the drivers are updated the problems get worse. The cuss put in a HP fax as a test and it works 100%. This is soo much fun.
As a temp fix for this customer, can DVMax output the job as a PDF first. Then open the PDF and execute the NW Fax job outside of DVMax. I know it's an extra step, but it's a temp solution until DVMax and Kyo can get their crap together on this.
The customer is always running DVMAX in the background...they have to. The fax will crash through Adobe or DVmax. I am almost 100% sure that DVMAX is causing this, however it does not happen all the time. This is becoming a major PITA.Sooo much fun
