I've stopped using the macro through IC link and have begun uning the mini driver with the "save as form" feature. It's very easy and the customers can change the form at will without any real training. You can create a new printer for as many forms as you like, then just name the new printer according to the saved image (IE:letterhead printer).

Has me confused also.

Unless ffsmak means the KX Prescribe Macro Generator driver, which does what he described. It's a non-printer-specific print driver that creates macros out of most things you can print from Windows applications. It's not entirely perfect, sometimes it requires some manual tweeking of the Prescribe code generated to make things right.

Using your Kyo Driver Library Disk(the purple one), instead of letting it auto boot, explore the disk and browse to "drivers", "mini drivers", select language, select OS, then select "kpdl driver", the driver list will install then auto run, install your model printer and when finished, pull up the image you want to save and print it to the new printer, when the printer screen comes up, select properties, select advanced, select superwatermark, select save as form "a", and print the image. Now go to "control panel", "Printers" and go to the properties page of the new printer, select "printing defaults", "advanced", "superwatermark", and "use form "a", and save the setting as the default. Now anything you print to this printer will apply the image as a background.

Hope this helps...

OK, I just tried out Superwatermark. There are some limitations. Requires a hard disk apparently if you want the superwatermark to survive a main switch off/on cycle. Can't save or recall a superwatermark from a CF card. It is not a PreScribe macro, this is instead a PostScript feature. Your maximum amount of superwatermarks are 3.

A simple solution for a customer with simple needs, but a hard disk might be required.
