I have a customer with a c3130 which will not allow him to duplex some files created in Publisher. Open up a new MS Publisher file and the duplex option is there, but a couple of his files will not allow him to do so. The weird thing is that the driver does not even show a duplex unit installed. I'm sure it is somewhere in the creation of the doc but I would like a definitive answer so I can get this customer off my back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
First, can they duplex anything? is the printer set up correctlyin the printer properties?
And I think it was either publisher or pagemaker that you had to copy the PPD into the program folder for it to work right-check w/ the hotline for the correct bulletin.

I print from publisher all the time to a KM-C 2030 with fiery. I have never had a problem duplexing. I would think maybe the document may be set up with a media type that you cannot duplex, such as thick 2 or 3 . Kind of mystifies me that the duplex option doesnt even show up though.
