What's the skinny on this new File Management Utilty? I'm assuming it's just another way to set up scanning for the TaskAlfa machines...I'll play with it some today.

From what I can tell, it works with HyPAS to customize scanning workflow. However, nowhere in the instructions does it mention installing a HyPas application to make it work.

Did you ever get this going, I see it is on the new color line

I never did fully set this up. It never says in the manual or in the program what steps have to be taken at the copier itself to get this up and running. I imaging there will be more info on this program as more people become aware of it and start asking more questions. I first saw this program in training, but we never discussed it in detail.

If you go to the Application section on the New TASKalfa lineup the FMU application is ther. You just need to start it.

When scanning on the new Taskalfa linup, has anyone found how to browse folders to select the scanning destination from the display panel? (Without having to input user/pass details every scan) From what i can see FMU does not allow browsing of folders, and DBA doesn't seem to work of the new TASKalfa lineup?

meta data file that comes with the scan ?
I have search, read the operators guide and I am not finding a way to turn it off so it does
not send the meta file
