We have a customer running on NDPS and just upgraded from 98 to XP. They are having a problem pushing out the 2000 driver because they get an error from NDPS that that driver is unable to load on XP. Any ideas?

Is it 5.x or 6.x NDPS? Check with Kyocera tech support AFTER you find out the version. A year or so back, we had a customer that had to upgrade Novell because of a Novell problem. Novell sent patches to correct one version, skipped the next version and on the newest (at the time) had it corrected without the patch.

Can you still do it the old-fashioned way by loading the driver locally on the XP workstation? You just have to browse to the Netware print queue set up for the printer when selecting a print port.

There ae working with NDPS 6 and I think they can do it the old fashion way locally but they don't want to do it that way because "it will take too much time". Thanks for the help.

Our customer WAS able to do it the "old fashioned" way by loading each workstation and pointing them to teh print que. I agree with Chris and the customer however - WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS. An how about updating the drivers later down the raod?

Print system H is at a dead end as far as Kyocera will support it. There will no longer be any updated drivers for this system. Reason? It is not a Kyocera designed print board.
