BRAND NEW MACHINE OUT OF BOX WORKED FOR 2 DAYS AND THEN CODE F03000833 CAME UP. TOLD CUSTOMER TO POWER OFF AND BACK ON AND WORKED FINE FOR A DAY.THEN CAME UP WITH SAME CODE AGAIN.WENT DOWN AND LOOKED AT MACHINE CODE SHOT IT TO MAIN BOARD.SO DISCONNECTED ALL CONNECTIONS ON MAIN BOARD AND PLUGGED IN. THEN SELF TEST CAME ON AND NO BLACK BARS UNDER SELF TEST CAME ON.IT RAN FOR ABOUT 7 MINUTES THEN I TURNED IT OFF AND TRIED AGAIN SAME THING. CALLED TECH SUPPORT AND THEY TOLD ME TO LOAD NEW FIRMWARE TRIED TO AND SAME THING SELF TEST STAYED ON.SO GOT ANOTHER FS4000DN AND TOOK TO CUSTOMER AND I'LL BE DURN IF IT CAME UP WITH THE VERY SAME FREAKIN CODE F03000833.SO CHECKED CURRENT AT WALL SHOWED VARIANCE OF 5VOLTS.PUT COPYSTAR SURGE BOX ON IT.TURNED OFF AND BACK ON AND RUNS FOR A WHILE AND THEN CODE COMES BACK. TRYING TO GET MAIN BOARDS ORDERED NOW.HELLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!

My first instinct is that the code is actually an F030 code with a meter reading of 833 clicks. Several different things can cause that. That being said... I have to ask a really embarrasing question that I have seen in the past so don't take offense. Are you sure that you put a "different" FS4000 in it's place? If you got the same F030 000833 code, it would indicate that they both had 833 clicks (too much of a coincidence).
