What password are you refering to? The managment access code can always be gotten around by using 6-4-8-2 which by the way is m-i-t-a on a telephone keypad. Once in you can turn off the user account code feature in the defaults. I hope this is what you are refering to.

If it's a password on the network card, it depends on which NIC is installed. If it's the really old NC-6 NIC, I would guess that there is a jumper on it marked "FACT" that you short to reset to factory settings. This is how the NC-4 NIC works.
If it's an IB-20 NIC, the jumper to short is SW2. Just move the jumper from it's normal setting across SW1 and SW2, set it to short the pins of SW2, reinstall in the print system and turn on copier for a minute to reset. Remove the NIC and put the jumper back to it's original pins, and it's all reset to defaults with no password.
