I'm trying to send the command to print the EVENT LOG to a fs3830n,I know the command but do not have a parrallel cable outlet on my laptop. Is there another way to send the data to the printer via network or USB, I am new to this brand and would appreciate any suggestions.
Yes. If the machine is on the network, enter the IP address into a web browser to bring up the internal web interface. You can then click on Printable Data and send the text command to the printer. Hope this helps.
You can also use the KMnet Veiwer utility and use the 'Broadcast' function.
Also, if you set FRPO I1 to 1(!R! FRPO I1,1; EXIT; )you can add the event log to the service menu, so you can print it from the panel menu any time you want,
