Have a quick question about the KM-2050 and HDD. I've read that the only hard drive you can get for this unit is a microdrive, in 340, 540, or 1 GB sizes. Can anyone confirm this and tell me where I can get one of these 1 GB drives? I can't find info anywhere.
Thanks,

According to the initial tech pubs you are correct. I swear I read somewhere, that you that you can use a 2 Gig and a 4 Gig also. I ordered a 2Gig Micro drive from Memory Experts and it seams to work fine. I ordered it to play with but it went out on a sale as soon as it came in and I can’t tell you weather it recognized all 2 Gigs or not. I set it up with virtual mail boxes and it sets up just like a HD4. I have another on order, so will play more when it comes in.

the 2 and 4 gig work ok, the 2 gig may need to be formatted on a pc first. The 4 gig is as expensivre as the hdme4 20 gig drive Smile the documentation says 1 gig however it was discontinued by ibm in february....hope this helps
