Is there a way to "batch" fax with this fax system? By that I mean, can you fax more than what the doc feed will hold in a single fax?

Also, is there any trick to faxing mixed originals? Will the machine detect the size of each page as it is scanned? If so, I guess it will be up to the recipients machine to resize if it only has one paper source.

All of these things I have seen on the copy and scan side of things, but I have never come across this for faxing.

Yes and yes. You can scan pages from a book off the glass to fax with the batch scan feature also.

Mixed page sizes has been an ability of the CCITT fax standard for many years. The receiving end fax must do the work of either selecting the correct paper source, reducing the image to fit the available paper, or split the image onto 2 papers.
