I am looking for a part (JB73-00055A, Doc. feed roller) for a Samsung SCX-4521F. I tried to order from Collins Dist. and they said it was not available anymore. I then tried to order from Precision Roller and they say it is on backorder till end of Feb. This machine is only 2 years old. Did they change the part number? Thanks in advance for any help.
Try JB75-00300A it is considered the pick-up tire assy. I looked it up and it has that number in it as part of the assy. It isn't that expense either. Very cheap!! SAMSUNG SAYS THAT IT IS IN STOCK!
What do you guys think of the newer Samsung machines? We had carried the older series for a while but they had a high operating cost and weren't very durable - lots of ADF hinges, power supply failures...
They are actually really good. The new 5935 is 200 times better than any 1820 out there. It has a color touch screen, 500 sheet drawer and can do everything out of the box, copy, print, scan (Email, SMB and Utility) Fax (network, fax to email) All for the same price as the 1820.
There product has greatly improved, tech support is weak. Warranty is fantastic. For example, I go out to a customer within the first year and lets say they jammed the ADF and there was a piece of paper stuck in the feeder. I removed the paper and charge the customer. I go to samsung and they give me 118.00 to do that no questions asked...
Color product is not that bad. the CLX-6240 is similar to the hp 3800. I think that its that one paper comes out of the cassette and straight up the vertical belt and out of the machine. I got one of the earliest models had a few issues. Customer had it for four months and I got samsung to send me out a new one and have had no issues. The clx-8380's (40 Color, 40 bw)have been really good, alot better color than the voyager series and a step below the taskalpha. Only issue that I get from the customer is that it does alot of auto registrations and color density adjustments whenever it feels like it. Cost per copy is alright, customer can replace mostly all the units. But what you see is what you get, you can't do any adjustments, similar to an HP. Warranty is strictly parts only, no labor. Good machines for customers that don't need 11x17 nor high end color output. Has print, scan, copy, fax is an option. CLX-6240 you get all four standard. So far I like them for what they are, an answer for stupid HP's
