I have installed several of the 6345N and I am asking if there is much improvement with the 6545N? Our experience with the 6345N has been mixed with drums only getting about 35-40K instead of 60K, and some misc problems for copy quality, etc.. We went through the replacement of the Drums and Waste Toner auger, etc.. and the Touch screen was tempermental. Have these issues followed the new model 6545N???

I have not had a problem with the SCX6545 but then I never had problem with the SCX6345 - the exception being when someone turned the energy save way up - it needs to be kept to 5 mins and the drum issue will go away

The issue you mentioned with the 6345 having copy quality issues and drum units failing before their time is an all inclusive issue which has been fixed in a firmware update that was released back in December. We are running the SCX-6555 since its release here in Australia and we love them! I hope the info has helped.
