Have customer that installs new toner ctg. then 2 maybe 3 wks later calls and tells me it is asking for toner again. Any ideas?? Firmware??

yes it is a firmware problem that was problem when new model I assume the machine have been in storage upgrade to newest firmware and the problem will be solved. The usability of those already cycled toners in questionable but should work. note most samsung have a ignored empty toner mode
