Jam codes 1101, 2001, 3001. All from tray 1. Feeds fine from tray 2 and the bypass. It appears the reg roll sensor is not being activated. If you load only 1 sheet in the tray it feeds fine. If you fill the tray, it continues to feed 2,3,or 4 sheets until it times out. I've swapped tray 1 feed head assembly and the reg roll assembly, all from a new machine. No good. I've also adjusted loop timing from one extreme to the other. No good. NEC tech line is out of ideas. HELP!

Have you run it in service mode from tray 1 and does it still jam ?? This is the same engine as the NEC 35C3 which we have had to repalce the feed clutch on it's no fun How many copies on machine and have you replaced feed rollers ??

Yes, it jams in service mode and copy mode. It's a new machine with only 1300 copies. This all started after the HDD was formatted per tech support. I've also replaced the print controller board.
