I am trying to reconfigure the scanner utility onto a comnputer but cannot find the IP address for our KM-2030 ...

Lets see if I remember this correctly. First plug the neteork cable into the scanner card. Make sure it has a green light. Next on the control panel there is a button " */language ".
Use that button and scroll through to scanner settings. If the scanner is not connected to any network you will not be able to access the ip address, or change it to match the ip of the system you are trying to connect to. This screen is where you change the address of the scanner card.

BTW forget to add the password ort access code to get into the scanner settings is 2000.
