fax will not hang up after sending or receiving fax, if the machine is just powered on it will send and receive one fax, to get it to send another fax the machine has to be power cycled. any thoughts on this problem, the line has been tested and the customers old fax works fine, any ideas on a solution

Did you use the black phone line that came with the machine and also the tan plastic sleeve that you have to wrap the cord through? Maybe you also may need to put one of those DSL filters on the line as well. Just a couple things to try, Let us know what you find.

yeah the black cord and the filter is on there is did not think about a dsl filter. ill try that too. thanks

I've had this problem once before. My solution was to use a two wire telephone cord plugged onto the 1128.
