so we just brought a machine into the shop that has a fax job trying to print. we cannot delete the job, and can't get into SIM to reset anything... we have put another fax in the machine but the job is still there and won't go away...
any ideers?

I had s situation like this on a CS-2560.

I did a U022 memory clear, and the job printed out. It has been suggested to me that perhaps static paper sizes had been entered for the paper trays, and the U022 restored Auto Tray Select.

Just had this problem with a 255 . The trays were set to metric paper size. Once I set them to inch the faxes printed out. Hope this helps.

my service mgr got it figured out. turns out it was a bad fax system. a tech had replaced the original one with a one that we just had in the shop and got the same result. turns out we had 2 bad fax systems...go figure! thanks for the help tho!
