Have a problem with a 4035. The machine when copying will enlarge the print feed direction only and when using the doc feeder and when putting the copies on the glass. Prints are just fine when printing from the network. anbd internals are okay. The unusual part is this. When first starting copying the copies are fine. They gradually enlarge as you copy. And like I said It also happens when on the glass and through the doc feeder.

Has anyone seen this sort of weirdness?

It sounds as though your laser or laser control circuitry is failing. That's where I would start.

If it was the laser then internal prints would be bad also. I would focus on optics.

Replaced the isu and problem solved
