just updated firmware using a usb memory stick. one day later the machine has a cf14f code, not sure what to do.

It's just a coincidence.

The cf14f is a power supply failure. I've had a few of these on the FalconIII series. It usually is damage to the power supply as a result of brownout conditions in the building power.

My machines presented really interesting symptoms. The display would blink on and off at 1 second intervals while attempting to initialize, and a relay on the power supply clicks like a metronome the whole time. After 30 seconds it displays a cf14f or C6000 error. The machine takes firmware, but it doesn't resolve anything. Replacing the power supply has resolved it on each occasion. =^..^=

Could this error code in any way have anything to do w/ the machine being out of toner? Or is this too just a coincidence?
