Guys......I must be the dumbest person on the earth.... I went to KMA connect, downloaded the latest firmware for the Kyocera FS 1128 Firmware dated 5/23/2011, it shows up on the computer, I incert a 4gb flash drive....go to the firmware & right click send to flash drive......It is downloaded to the flash drive ....I incert it in the USB memory slot on the front of the 1128, turn on the machine and it just warms up like there is nothing in the slot. I have tried 3 different flash drives (all new ones) and I get the same result each time.....from the book, it says incert the flash drive, turn on & about 40 seconds later it is supposed to start the download procedure. PLEASE HELP!!!!!....what am I missing or doing wrong....This is a brand new machine in the shop with firmware version 2JN_2F00.010.013 2009.08.08 please help!!!! Thanks Brian

After you download the firmware on the PC, you must also "unzip" the file. You will have a new folder with multiple files in it. You must copy all the files inside of that folder to the root folder of the USB flash drive, then do the update. It will not work at all if the firmware is inside of a sub-folder or it is still the .zip file. ================================================== Chris L's Hiking/Geocaching blog (new and improved!) yoyoartist.blogspot.com

Chris L...You are the man, I wasn't doing the unzip parts then putting those in a file as seperates ... so once I did that, good to go, all updates completed...Thank you VERY much!!! Have a great weekend
