I have a unit that is jamming when the paper is going down into the sorter (single Sheet). The original issue was the odd jam with no set pattern. The tech thought changing the Stay Leading Feed Ass'y might be the solution.I am not sure if that is the case but from what I can see during the operation as the paper travels down to this area I can't tell if the mechanism allows the sponge rollers to contact the paper to kick it back up. I think I will remove the unit and check out in more detail.
This unit is attached to a 6230.
Any Thoughts appreciated.

Thanks for the response. Yes this unit has the new style parts installed and everything appears as it should.I will check the compression spring and the solenoid position.
