I have a KM-5050 with latest firmware that will only recieve faxes on letter-r. Machine has 2 trays set letter and legal. If the MP tray is turned off in fax recieve mode, the incoming fax is looking for letter-r and gives an error, load tray 1. If I change tray 1 to letter-r or turn on MP tray and load letter-r, fax prints.
The operator is ANAL and doesn't want to have to use the MP tray and wants it to print on letter from tray 1. Tray is set to plain paper and not deemed custom.

try sim 600 which resets the fax system see if that helps
