Machine runs great with legal or 8.5x11 but getting J41 or J46 when running 11x8.5. Paper goes through fuser but stops in exit unit fan folding paper. Have replaced fuser and exit unit. All sensors and clutches check out in service mode tests. Am I missing something simple?
Is the jamming from all the trays? It could be feed tires (which ended up jamming in the duplexer of a 2050) or either the Verticle feed guide or the B feed guide might be missing teeth (which happened to me on a 3035). It took me a about an hour to figure that out. Once I did I found I could run 8 1/2 X 11 without jamming but not 11 X 8 1/2.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

I had a similar problem and I tried several components but I ended up having to change the whole conveying section. In my case it was a bad piece of mylar that wore on one side. I expect it could be changed but I have found installing parts like that are never the same as factory. I am sure it was a HEAT related issue causing warping. I had tried a fuser and exit unit first. There was just enough skew on letter and ledger size paper to cause jams. All paper sources did the same thing. I hope this is of some help. Be sure to post your final solution if you can. Thanks
It ended up being a chipped tab on the spring loaded rear fuser guide. Caused uneven pressure and paper skew before entering exit unit. I should have noticed it sooner. Thanks for the input.
Yep the rear guide assy, The part # is 302GR93185 it comes as a complete assembly including lower sep claaws and updated exit rollers. It aslo swaps out with the 4035 series machines.
