Can't find this in the book, actual code was 6230:0198727. Went there and it would not reset until I pulled the Developer unit and reinstalled it. This should be a fuser code but it's not listed, anyone have a secret code list for this printer? Thanks.

It should be a fuser edge thermistor error. The developing unit should have nothing to do with it.

I looked through all the manuals for models in the same time period. Only the most recent manuals use this code. I found it in the CS-500ci manual. =^..^=

You might try cleaning the rfid sensor that is under the black plate in the developer unit. I have seen developer get on the board and cause all kinds of strange problems. When you reseated the developer, it could have changed something on the board if it was dirty. We have seen this cause several different codes. Glad you found the answer.

Just an update, this code came back two more times and I replaced the fixing unit to resolve the issue, thanks to all for the help.
