I am having a problem with a KM 4035 with an attached SRDF 2 located in a school office that is producing lines on copies only through the doc. feeder. The machine has 416,000 copies and the feeder is original. I have tried cleaning the optics, also tried adjusting U63 and U74, which has helped slightly, but the lines still remain. These lines are also not always in the same place on different copies and not always the same size (width wise). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I agree with bep. We've seen that before and you can sometimes see it by pushing on one end of the DP while it's feeding an original. Then make the adjustment that bep mentioned to fix.

A similar problem happened to me on a 4230. I cleaned the optics and here comes the lines on the copies, only when using the docfeed. The slit glass has the dust proof seal. If you put that blasted thing in upside down then you get the lines. So take the slit gless out and turn it over ened to end and try that.
You can also get lines from dirty mylars on the bottom of the DP. I also had a SRDF1 on a KM-4230 which was only fixed by trimming the mylars (they must have been in just the wrong place scan wise).
