If there is anybody still alive who remembers how to work on these, I am having a constant Z-folding problem occurring between the reg. rollers and the pre transfer rollers. replaced reg. roller, main motor, motor control pcb, main pcb, reg switch. The reg. roller looks like it is driving to fast. Also, does anyone have an drum motor, PN 78327250. It's not avail. thru Kyocera. Thanks for any info.

Well, I barely remember those monsters. All of ours disappeared from the field at least 4 years ago.

Do you suppose it's a problem with the pre-transfer roller not turning right? Keep in mind that the size of the copier really isn't an issue - it basically has the same operation as a small copier. I would look for a slipping one-way gear or possibly a missing pressing spring for the pre-transfer rollers. Look for some mechanical reason for one set of rollers to be turning with the other set not turning.

Have you looked to see if there is a paper buckle adjustment in simulation? We only had one of an older version years ago so my memory is dim on it.

We checked the mechanical side and didnt find anything. There isn't any buckle adj.We did set all defaults back to rear panel spects and started from there. The pre reg. rollers are cont. by the main motor and the reg. roller is controlled by the drum motor, which we can't get. Thanks for the help, But I think this machine is finally headed for the graveyard! May we have a moment of silence please....

I still have one of these in the field wiht 1.4 mill. Yes
Did you replace the pre-trannsfer roller? If I remember correctly the roller shrinks with age and causes it to spin slower because of the diameter differance.
