take the drive out and Format it with a laptop, computer and than put it back in the machine quote: Originally posted by Gazoo: Can the data security kit be turned off on a F-3 machine? I have a machine that is locked up and won't let you do a thing. It is overwriting hdd after you turn it on and won't let you do anything. The machine then will give random errors like CFA10 turns off then back on and then will throw a CFB1A. I want to be able to turn off DATA kit to try and format the HDD instead of overwriting it. I can not get into maint mode......

I have the usb adapter to hook up the small ones from the print systems to a laptop.

Have you tried to turn it on with the door open and go immediately into maintenance mode with the door open?
Proximity to stupidity is exhausting!
