I feel for ya, I replace the paper lift actuators when they begin to wear a flat spot. I almost never have J10 anymore. The feed and sep tires will last between 150k to 250k before they become a problem. The part # for the actuator is 2BC06380 ACTUATOR,PAPER EMPTY. Be careful when removing the old actuator so not to break the mount. I clip the arms off when removing.

We've had a couple doing this. Try replacing the new style feed film with the one from an 8030, worked for us both times.

I think he's referring to the "U' shaped mylar that wraps around the separation roller. After a while it will wear thin, or get creased, and become unusable. =^..^=

My Tech Rep from Kyocera gave me a fix tip for this problem and it works. Take the Mylar from a Falcon PM Kit that goes on the Reg Roller and cut it the width of the U shaped mylar.Replace the old mylar with the new one. The extended "ramp" of the new mylar changes the angle that the paper hits the re-feed/separation rollers. I had 2 820's in a Law firm with 100's of J-10's, after installing the fix I have not had a single J-10 in a month. Thanks to Barry, his fix not mine.
