flashing a "AP" and we have added toner and paper where does it go from there ... I see nothing in the manual

how many copies on the developer? rated for 100K, do a dev. change and you should be good. OEM toner, right?

AP means that it is adding toner.

Make sure you really bang on the cartridge to get all the toner loose. Turn the toner add shafts on the cartridge with a pair of plyers to make sure it is not bound up. I have had to turn the machine on and off a # of times. Open the front door a # of times etc. It took ten minutes for the AP light to go out. That is the nature of the beast.

Check for the Drum dusting. There was a batch of KTN toner way back that wasted the toner as quick as it could add it!!!
