We just installed the mini print driver on a hetworked 3530, now once in a while it is printing incorrect characters instead of what is supposed to.
Now I understand that the driver is the problem, since it just started when we installed the driver. Has anyone else had this problem ?

try changing the fonts to bitmap from outline. Its probably not a driver issue, its more that the printer doesnt have all of the worlds fonts in it. A bitmap is an image of the document but you may reduce speed and increse file size.

You are talking on the default setting for the print side of the 3530 ?

Furnfuz is refering to a setting in the KX driver. You can select to download fonts to the printer as "outline" or "bitmap". I believe the third setting is to substitute an internal font.

I don't know for sure if there is a setting in the KPDL mini driver to do the same thing, but there might be. It should be found under "properties" for the driver itself, and cannot be changed from the menu when actually printing.
