I get a system error message at turn on. This happens about once out of every 5 times the machine is turned on. Says program loading, then please wait message, the instead of the usual please wait,cleaning it comes up with system error, main switch off & on. New HD installed 2 months ago, reformatted again and still get system error. I have read the previous posts about this and none seem to apply. Any help greatly appreciated.

Check connectors on all peripials.I had the same problem on a 4030.And found a loose DF 78
connector.

i had this this week, was goin to eplace main pcb but tried 128 meg dimm first..voila...works fine a dimm is alot cheaper than a 4000 repair bill
