I have two 520i machines with double digit cf278 codes. The last one has had 66 of them in 49k copies. up to date firmware on both. I looked at the list on this website and seen it has something to do with energy saver. Anyone have any ideas cause im just going to start guessing here pretty quick.

I seem to remember that if your customer shuts off the main power switch without turning off the power switch on the panel, you'll get cf278 codes. This begs the question: Why is your customer turning the machine Off? =^..^=

Thanks for the info blackcat. So I asked the customer about the shutting the machine off. She says the machine is just locking up. she has to shut the machine off/on to get it to work. Like in the middle of copying it jams but doesnt show her where the jam is and locks the machine up. Ill have to look into this a little better.

Any updates on this one? I have a TA520i that has 16 of these errors and has just over 100k on it.
