The DR-150 comes off the right side. Remove the rt cover, about ten screws, the motor and wiring connections, then you should be there. Taking the assemble apart is easier than its removal. Reassemble is harder as is re-installation. If you're experimenting with swapping clutches, taking clutches apart, multiple reassembling, you can easily kill 2+ hours.
Now if you are referring to the reg roller I had the DR-150 out of the machine (I think you have to) when I replaced mine. I also had the guides, bypass and drawer primary PF assy out (left side cover off and a lot more prying.)
As I stated in my previous post the reg roll didn't fix my problem. Swapping and cleaning clutches didn't fix it either, though the jamming stopped and reg improved to only varying about an inch.
I've since had the pleasure of a second machine, this one's staying in the field. Again only fixed it enough to stop the jams. Don't overlook the sep roller and torque limiter, that was my rep's suggestion as well as Gazoo's

Haven't had this problem on a 1128, but I had it on a few printers.
If you take the cover off and watch the feed. There is a little solenoid with a plate. The plate sticks to the solenoid.
Had 2 or 3 printers with varying reg. problems, all cassettes and the MP tray. Cleaned off the plate, problem went away.
Worth a shot to take a look

Here's what we did and maybe will help others. Quick Fix: Replaced the DR-150. But before we replaced it, we open up the Dr-150 and we found that the clutch in the middle has a worn out collar due to wear and tear. All the gears were good and if you can order the clutch separately, maybe will save some money. There are 3 clutches and only the middle one shows sign of heavy use. So, don't throw those used DR-150 yet. You might be able to repair them. This machine has 44k copies only and clutch (#2HN44110) not available yet. After opening the right side of the machine, remove the drive motor, coupler gear ass'y and the Dr-150. It's not really hard to remove it, but my advice is just replace it and don't waste too much time troubleshooting it. I hope this helps.

Fixed a few KM 1820's by replacing the PF and Reg clutches and both their solenoids... On the KM 1820 the solenoids have a rubber spacer that the new solenoid does not come with it.Take and transfer those rubbers to the new solenoids... after a while they stick to the metal piece causing the sol/clutch not to engage in time .I believe they are similar FS 1128 MFP are similar to KM 1820.

Ok so the SOBs @ KMA said to me this DR-150 was defective just not a manufacturers defect. So they denied the warranty claim. I'm definitely getting jerked around by them.

Just be careful pulling the wires out of the clutch units. The red one in the back was so hard I pulled the wires out. I have also had offsetting and didn't see it on the drum so replaced the fuser after 45K but it was the drum blade.
