Explain that there are exactly the same number of communication errors with both facsimile. The Brother does not catch these errors and prints the corrupt data. The Kyocera identifies the communication errors and after a specific number of errors cuts off the Tx or Rx.
I don't think that qualifies as "...works fine."

Turn off Busy tone detect, slow down the modem speed to 9.6, I turn the DB level down to 09 for sending. ECM mode to Off, and sometimes depending on the building I will mess around with the PBX if they have one. You can also play around with the V34 and turn your machine into a G3 Brother if you would like.
One other thing that has helped is installing a DSL filter. I have played around with settings alot before. One thing on the faxes on the new 1128s. If the Rx Restriction get's turned on it appears to block any fax received that does not have the TTI info/fax number sent with the fax. So that is why it is very important to program this info into each fax system we install, but it is also a FCC regulation that some sort of TTI info is sent with each fax, at least the fax phone number.
