Copy Guy,
I checked our internal knowledge base because this sounded familiar. I've pasted the information below: If you're getting a "Memory Full" message after scanning one original, Try the following: Run simulation 906. Then run simulation 024 (this formats the hard drive). This should fix the issue. IMPORTANT! Be sure to use the "Scanner Address Editor" utility to back up any addresses the customer may have preloaded on the hard drive before formatting. |

Check also that the firmware is updated.

Catch me if you can! |
Just a tip for people doing a search in the future...
With copiers that don't have a hard disk, default to Auto Exposure mode and/or clean the optics. Originals that scan with very light grey background will not compress down in size much and use up available RAM with only a few originals scanned. ================================================== Chris L's Hiking/Geocaching blog (new and improved!) yoyoartist.blogspot.com |

Format the Hard Drive in simulation 24, when complete do sim 21 & 22 this should cure you problem.

We had one a few months ago with same problem. Finally figured out it was triggered when a print job was sent. We swapped HDD's, no more issues since. Format and scandisk did not help.
