| I just had the same problem. The copier feels that it must print out the incoming fax so I went into fax settings and set the tray to MP. It spit out the fax and now works just fine. |

| We had a customer complaining that they had to manually intervene and hit the start button to get an incoming fax to print. It started immediately after a sales manager visited and played with the machine. It went on for a year and a half before they casually mentioned it to a tech who was there for another issue. Turns out that the sales manager had changed the paper trays all to plain but didn't change the FAX paper setting. If the FAX paper setting doesn't exactly match one of the paper sources it just sits there until you tell it to ignore it and print out on what's available. I leave everything set to the defaults unless the customer has a pressing need to change ONE of the paper sources. This one drove the tech crazy for two weeks, swapping out faxes and boards. Gene
