Mine was a CS-2560, but the fix was changing printer emulation in the driver from PCL5e to PCL XL. As a side effect, I got random occurrences of geometric shapes overlaying the printed images. Bizarre! =^..^=

What application are you getting these geometric shapes overlaying, is it with MS Publisher and utilizing WordArt? I've encountered issues with WordArt not working properly when the KPDL language is selected and other issues when a PCL language is chosen. This has primarily occured with color machines at locations where they are doing layout for printed media flyers for Realtors. I downloaded an older version of the Universal KX driver that allows you to choose PDF in the PDL section of the driver and this seems to resolve all the issues I've encountered. I noticed that the most recent KX driver released does not have the PDF selection available in the PDL section of the driver settings though.
The documents were PDFs and HTMLs. I'll attach the scans in the message board forum above. They are bizarre! =^..^=
