I do not work on these very often, but I have one giving problems. It seems after this one comes out of sleep, it does not warm up enough before it lets you print. The toner can wipe off or it will be stringy. I have replaced the fuser twice over the last year and it still does this. We put a power filter on the line just wondering if it was getting hit and confusing it.Does anyone have an idea or have you seen this?Any help would be great.ThanksCameron

Have you tried hitting it with the latest firmware?

No I have not. I'm not even sure how to do it?
I don't believe we have the latest or can get it. We are not a KM dealer any more (about 3 yrs).

Yes it is OEM toner. And they only print about 100 a month. Not much for a machine this big. In the past they printed a lot more, but it is slower for them now and has benn for a couple of years.

I never thought of the fan filters. Can they cause this fusing problem? I ask because I really don't know.
Thanks
